About us
Strong roots. A culture that lives.
The ILIRIDA Song and Folk Dance Ensemble was founded in 2022 as a professional ensemble. It brings together vocal soloists, the orchestra, the dance group and the choir.
The mission of AKV ILIRIDA is to develop, refine and spread the folkloric treasure — the rich vocal, instrumental, choreographic and costume heritage that varies from region to region, creating a distinctive mosaic of motifs.
In 2025 the ensemble represented the city of Shtime and Kosovo at the international festival in Türkiye, among 23 participating countries — and it is the founder and organiser of the national FOLKFEST festival.
Heritage
A heritage that lives
through every generation.
Our embroidered costumes, dances, songs and rites are not memories — they are an everyday act of living. In every rehearsal, on every stage, at every festival, we pass them on exactly as we received them: with pride.
